Faux Leather Shorts

Looking at my closet, I have denim shorts, short shorts, destroyed shorts, fleece shorts and oh denim shorts again!! I was on the hunt for faux leather shorts for a while and until recently found this Line & Dot Hollywood Boxer Shorts online a few weeks ago (they are currently on sale now, get them before it's too late! Also in Metallic Gold). Absolutely love the shining effect, a must-have for archiving an effortless outfit look (if you are a texture lover, you might probably love the quilted diamond faux leather BB Dakota shorts). You can style the shorts with a simple tank top or crop top. Or like what I wear in the photos: a simple grey t-shirt with the Otto body chain (yes, it's from Element 7!). Instead of my usual strappy heeled sandals, I wore those Nine West nude sandals to give a long-legs visual effect :P xoxo, Claire.

Body Chain

So body chain, how much fun can you have with it? I love the dedicated chain detail that gives a bit of sexy looking. I recently got a few from Element 7 and am obsessed with them currently! I know you can look smoking hot with the chain over a bikini but since I'm not a bikini girl, I decided to style it with Lenni XX top (love the dress version!), ZARA heels and Mango black skinny jeans. Not too edgy looking, but definitely need some attitude for this body chain. xoxo, Claire.

Remember this striped skirt? I was wearing it with white t-shirt in this post... a more causal look. This time I wore a thin striped shirt instead, which creates a more sophisticated outfit look. I've seen people mixing different types of strips together and they look really stylish, but I guess I was a bit afraid to try until recently. Well, you only live once so at least give it a try right? :) I think the key point to mix strips well is to bring different kinds of strips together, which means the thickness, direction, and color. One can never have too much of strips, yes? xoxo, Claire.

Tie a Knot

Sometimes you can do something different to your ordinary outfit; for example, tie a knot on your t-shirt to make a crop top. Be creative, right?! You just need to make sure that the shirt is made of stretchable fabric :) I simply styled the shirt with denim jeans, heeled sandals and white cardigan. Oh, don't forget to add small accessories to make the whole attire more interesting. xoxo, Claire.

Hair Care

All right, I want to admit that hair care wasn't my biggest concern for the past few years. But as I often curl my hair with a curling iron for photoshoot, I have come to a realization that I need to take care of my dry and flat hair (that's a warning right there!). I have received a few email asking me how I do my hair and what kind of products I use, so I share some of my favourite hair products in this post for those who might find it helpful :) PS. you can click the products on the photo and will be directed to the product page! Very cool right?! :) Click "continue reading" to see how I use each product.
