Mango Pants (similar Paige Denim) | Senso booties | Alexander Wang Bag | Element 7 Body Chain (similar ASOS)

So... you've probably noticed that I've been wearing this MANGO coat a lot recently. Well, thanks to the Vancouver weather, it's been raining for almost a week and the wind has been so crazy so I definitely need a coat like this one to protect me, right? :) Okay, let's talk about this layering... white shirt + sleeveless sweater + body chain underneath the coat, that's the classic layering technique that everyone should know how to do it right (*wink wink*). Good enough for another black and white outfit. I think it's becoming my weekend uniform now. xoxo, Claire.

The Fall Coat

wearing: Chuu Coat (similar Boohoo) | ZARA Sweater (similar ASOS)
Chuu Pants (similar Band of Outsiders) | Senso booties | Alexander Wang Bag

The one thing I love about fall is that I can wear different styles of coats for the cold season. I believe that a good-looking long coat actually makes people look more stylish. I received this light-weight coat from Chuu a while back, and people have been telling me that how nice the coat is. I like the combination of wearing coat and sweater at the same time, but sometimes I look ridiculously big, which makes my head look like it's shrinking in a funny way, haha. Well, thankfully that the coat is super light-weight, so I was able to wear this oversized sweater from ZARA underneath. Pairing with these striped trousers and SENSO booties, another weekend attire is completed.  xoxo, Claire.

Shades of Grey

wearing: Mango Coat | Chelsea 28 Sweater (also love this poncho version)
Gap Jeans (similar Rag & Bone) | Senso booties | Alexander Wang Bag (black version on Shopbop)

I don't like raining season - simply because it's really hard to do photoshoot when it's raining. Larry and I went to Canada Place for photoshoot on last Saturday. The photos turned out to be better than I thought despite that my hair became messy and wet after the shoot... but I'm satisfied :) Probably it's because this grey coat from MANGO created an interesting contrast with the background. I absolutely love this grey coat, perfect to stay stylish for the cold weather. Maybe that's one of the few reason that I love about fall - being able to wear a good-looking coat. And oh these SENSO booties! Just love them :D I didn't like pointy shoes before. I used to think they were ugly, but time changes people you know :) I love how these pointy shoes elongate the legs without making me wear heels (bonus point!). So what's your love-hate relationship with fall? xoxo, Claire.

Casually Formal

So I guess fall is really upon us, well, at least here in Vancouver. We shot these pictures a while ago, right before the raining season began. I never actually knew that denim jacket kind of goes well with a pair of trousers. I was going to style the trousers with blazer but felt that it might be a bit too formal - so combining denim jacket and trousers creates an interesting contrast between casual and formal wears. What do you guys think of this outfit? Oh, and Happy Thanksgiving to my Canadian friends! Hope everyone enjoyed their weekend and had a great time with loved ones :) xoxo, Claire.

Finally, an outfit post is here! Feel like I haven't really done a proper outfit post for a while... been so busy lately - talking about how to manage time properly! Work, blog and family have been taking so much of my time currently and somehow I need to squeeze my time to write this post. Anyways, if you follow me on Instagram, you probably know that I was in Sun Peaks over the weekend. It was my first time and I fell in love with the beautiful town instantly! It kind of reminds me of Whistler - I think both towns are equally beautiful :) So I took a few outfit photos over there, with the new 24-70mm lens. Well, I have to admit that we actually had a hard time playing with the new lens... it was a bit challenging so I guess we will spend more time on figuring out this lens.

The weather was very nice during our visit but it was colddddd. I got this BB Dakota Cardigan from Revolve Clothing a while ago, right before the trip (good timing, eh?)! Such a lovely pattern, right?! I think it's good with denim shirt or simple tee like I wear in the photos. Pairing with these cowboy-style booties from Frye makes a perfect outfit for weekend getaway :) I got these Frye booties last year from Shopbop (psst, Shopbop is currently having 25% off CK underwear sale - just found it out and want to let you guys know *wink wink*) - I actually saw a few with similar style for this year, so you can check them out on Shopbop or Revolve Clothing. All right, I guess my time is up now. See you guys in next post! xoxo, Claire.
