Remember this striped skirt? I was wearing it with white t-shirt in this post... a more causal look. This time I wore a thin striped shirt instead, which creates a more sophisticated outfit look. I've seen people mixing different types of strips together and they look really stylish, but I guess I was a bit afraid to try until recently. Well, you only live once so at least give it a try right? :) I think the key point to mix strips well is to bring different kinds of strips together, which means the thickness, direction, and color. One can never have too much of strips, yes? xoxo, Claire.

Sometimes you can do something different to your ordinary outfit; for example, tie a knot on your t-shirt to make a crop top. Be creative, right?! You just need to make sure that the shirt is made of stretchable fabric :) I simply styled the shirt with denim jeans, heeled sandals and white cardigan. Oh, don't forget to add small accessories to make the whole attire more interesting. xoxo, Claire.

All right, I want to admit that hair care wasn't my biggest concern for the past few years. But as I often curl my hair with a curling iron for photoshoot, I have come to a realization that I need to take care of my dry and flat hair (that's a warning right there!). I have received a few email asking me how I do my hair and what kind of products I use, so I share some of my favourite hair products in this post for those who might find it helpful :) PS. you can click the products on the photo and will be directed to the product page! Very cool right?! :) Click "continue reading" to see how I use each product.

It’s getting hotter in Vancouver recently. On those hot weather days, I like to wear something light and simple. Slouchy striped shorts, simple white t-shirt (found this one on sale on ASOS) and cotton-made shirt (love this version too) are the perfect combination for days like this (of course, with these ZARA sexy strappy heeled sandals). While we were doing photoshoot on last Saturday, Larry was saying how this slouchy shorts look like pajamas… Uhmm I guess in some ways yes?! But who cares, right? I feel less restricted when dressing in loose shorts :) xoxo, Claire.

For the past few months, I’ve got the same question from people around the world: where to go in Vancouver? Should I rent a car or take transit? So I decided to do a short to-go list for those who are visiting Vancouver this summer (or in the future). The transportation in Vancouver is slow so I’d suggest you to rent a car if your plan is to visit different places. However,, if you are going to downtown area, I suggest you to take transit, as people usually get shorter temper while driving in downtown :)
