If you follow me on Instagram, you'd probably know that I recently got a little black envelope bag from Sophie Hulme during the Shopbop Sale event. The sleek cover with gold hardware adds a bit edgy twist to the outfit. The strap is detachable, so you can hold the bag as a clutch - definitely love its versatile function! Oh, I am so excited to tell you guys that recently I'm being featured on Farfetch's Google Plus post, be sure to check them out!

Layering tops should be considered as one of the skills for you and people who are into fashion, but what about layering the bottom part? That gets a bit interesting! Truth be told, sometimes I wear skinny leggings under jeans/pants when it's freezing cold outside... a kind of layering skill I reckon? Well, this time I layered the skinny jeans underneath the Self Portrait wrap skirt (love the mix of different materials), and paired up checked longline blazer, which takes the visual perception to feel the assorted patterns.

If this layering technique is not your thing, wearing a wraps skirt during warmer days to show off some legs sounds perfect too.

Gold Accessories

Gold Accessories have always been my favourites for enhancing details onto my outfits. When your wardrobe is all about basics, the perfect finishing touch to your outfits is any gold jewellery. I recently received a gold nail bracelet from Style Unscripted - they have bracelets in petite size for ladies with small wrists. I actually wore the bracelet in this post. Also I received a pair of beautiful studs from Bijules via Gnossem (okay, they aren't gold color but look at how dainty they are!). I don't have my ears pierced but I like to wear them on my sleeves or collar to create fine details - gotta be creative when it's hard to reject from these beauties! Wide Pants

wearing: Chelsea28 Sweater | Chuu Trench Coat (similar Club Monaco)| H&M Wide Pants
ZARA Heels (similar Stuart Weitzman) | H&M Belt (similar on Reiss or ASOS)

Wide pants make everything look better, elongating your body figure to the ideal ratio (just to fool people that you have the perfect figure). Picked up these wide pants from H&M a few days ago (and the belt! Love the gold hardware), and I've committed myself to them. Probably one of the wardrobe staples for a minimalist.

The best way to dress casually on a weekend is to wear a pair of sneakers. The obsession for these Keds sneakers from the latest spring collection is just ineffable (thank you Keds!) - I mean not only they look perfect with any outfits, they are also great for running around the town for errands (yes, literally, don't be surprise!). I like to pair up these Keds sneakers with skinny jeans and loose t-shirt, and you're totally good to go! So what's your #KedsStyle? Let me know in the comment section below!
