Wishlist: Holiday Shopping

It's almost the end of November, which means the Black Friday sale is coming soon! Is anyone ready for it? :) Well, instead of lining up in the cold night, I'd rather do some research online beforehand, look for the ones I want to buy, and just click click click when the day finally arrives *wink wink*. I've been keeping my eyes on those Aquazzura pumps - they are sooo beautiful and comfortable too! (tried them on at Holt Renfrew a few days ago, uhmmm... we will see!). And the card holder from Vianel is also on my list - something simple while you have all the cards you need: credit card and driver's licence, right? ;) Do you guys know any sale coming up soon? Let me know in the comment section below! xoxo, Claire.

The Black Dress

von vogue klarra black dress

wearing: Klarra Black Dress (similar Plethora Dress) | Mango Sweater (similar ASOS)
MANGO Coat (similar ASOS or ASOS) | Helmut Lang Booties (also on Shopbop) | Zara Scarf (similar Resis)

Okay, I'm pretty sure you've heard this a lot, "every woman should have a little black dress in her wardrobe". Here you go, the black dress, from Klarra. Gotta admit I wasn't a fan of maxi dress, so this is a good try :) Since the temperature is dropping to almost zero degree, here I'm wearing a sweater underneath the dress, along with my usual grey coat and the houndstooth scarf. Probably it's hard to tell from the photos, the dress has a beautiful V-neckline. The model wears it in a more elegant way (mine is more like dark-side style I think, ha!). Yay for maxi black dress? xoxo, Claire.

Teal Over Black

von vogue teal over black

wearing: Klarra Leather Top (similar Love Leather) | Klarra Skirt (similar Skingraft)
MANGO Coat (similar ASOS) | Nine West Booties | FiLiLi By Luiny Necklace

Always feel more feminine when dressing in skirt. That pencil skirt, of course, the ultimate piece to enhance your feminine side, si? I always thought the best way to style a pencil skirt is a simple white shirt, but then I was probably wrong. This teal leather top from Klarra creates a new classic feminine look when being styled with the pencil skirt. I simply love it. xoxo, Claire.

von vogue cape

wearing: Dabagirl Cape (similar Joseph or Splendid) | MANGO Sweater (similar Monki) | MANGO Shirt (similar FRAME)
Chuu Pants | Helmut Lang Booties (also on Nordstrom) | Alexander Wang Bag

This season I'm all about different styles of coats. This time, I'm introducing the cape coat (another item off my check list!), a versatile piece for dressing down or up. I've been dressing in menswear-styled outfits a lot recently; adding this cape over the whole attire actually gives a bit more of femininity, which is something I absolutely love! xoxo, Claire.

PS. I'm selling my Canon 24-70mm II f/2.8 lens, which I got it in late September. If anyone is interested and lives in Greater Vancouver (or Washington), feel free to contact me for more information about the lens!

wearing: ZARA Coat (similar JOA) | MANGO Jeans (similar A Gold E) | Urban Outfitters Sweater
Helmut Lang Booties (also on Nordstrom) | Alexander Wang Bag | FiLiLi By Luiny Necklace

Can't resist myself from getting extra sweaters when it's so cold outside. Thanks Urban Outfitters for providing me this cozy sweater just in time (and I'm currently wearing it while typing this post out, with a cup of hot tea in my hand at the same time, hehe). This was one of my weekend outfits a while ago: coat, black skinny jeans, tuareg necklace, and a pair of pointy booties - perfect for strolling around the town and keeping myself warm on a busy day. xoxo, Claire.
