If you are a lover of prints and patterns, then Giambattista Valli's Fall 2015 Couture Fashion Show would be your new obsession. The opening started off with slim silhouette that had ruffled tulle slung low on the pants. As the runway continued, the looks came with assorted embroideries of beautiful flowers and eccentric patterns. Not to forget about those gigantic black sunglasses - the round lenses remarked an enduring statement piece at the show. The color palette was played carefully in a stark contrast: black and white with lilac and orange; something in between modern and retro styles.
Toward the end of the show, a deluge of billowing dresses and skirts with long tulle raffles trailing at the back came and ended the carpeted runway, in such a romantic, dreamy way. That would be some brides' ideal dress... totally. Although Valli's clothes might seem to be dramatic, I feel that his works still remain realistic; I can totally see an ordinary person dressing in one of his marvellous looks.
Oh, instead of showcasing the images online, I thought it would be interesting to print them out and display them in a different way.
And, I am still in awe of the fascination.
