Josie Natori Spring/Summer 2016

Inspired by Asian paintings and calligraphy, Josie Natori has incorporated brushstrokes and plum blossoms into her Spring/Summer 2016 collection during NYFW. Throughout the whole collection, it is undoubtedly that one can perceive the beautiful combination of Asian traditional arts and modern styles in sexy embellished silhouettes, reinvented obi belts and satin kimono vests.

What I love about this collection is not just on the clothing - the models' eye makeup reflected the bold, fast brushstrokes of Asian arts. The beauty of a collection is not just about how the styles amaze the audience, but it is the details that a designer pays attention to.

And there, Natori has reimagined the eveningwear to a different style, dazzling us with her stunning latest collection...
