When you love a designer brand that focuses primarily on quality, design and fit, not to mention it's local, you would become obsessed. Literally. That's how I feel when the Vancouver-based brand, Aces of Armor, approached to me a week ago. Although here in Vancouver we are known for our yoga pants and tops (take Lululemon as the example while other local yoga wear brands keep popping out down the street), we don't have (many) sophisticated designer brands, like those ones from Australia (C/Meo Collective, Dion Lee) and Singapore (Hyphen the Label). Not because we don't have creative talents, I believe we do, but simply lack of sufficient resources and platforms as a creative space to execute the plan.
Truth is always bitter.
Yet this doesn't stop Aces of Armor from archiving the business; they produce the entire high quality collection in the heart of New York City, with their fabrics sourced from the best Italian mills. If you are looking for a great investment in coat, their structured wool coat would be your best choice. It makes you look smart and sharp instantly. No doubts at all.
The term "high quality" should be only used wisely when it actually applies. So when I mention something has high quality, I do mean it.
And so does Aces of Armor.
